If you're a member of The Magic Pebble, have been invited by a member of The Magic Pebble, or received an email directing you to this page, then you're so def invited to the hoedown, the hootenanny, the hoodang.
That's right. I said hoodang.
Because it's not a convention or a magic meeting or a cabal; we have no dealers or badges or a front registration desk or shows or secret members' breakfasts for the Circle of the Order of Rasputin to which you can't go.
No, this is just a hang, and not only is it a good one, it's one of the best.
Wait. Stop. Pause. Rewind. Scratch that.
It's THE best.
It's small, intimate, and it caters to the talented and somewhat tilted. So, if you like to sit around with friends and do tricks, tell jokes, and talk smack, bring your awesome tail in with all your cards and coins and Altoid tins (talking to you, DANNY), and jam it, baby. All day and all night. And then some.
So, this is a big deal, right?
No, this is actually a small deal. To keep things manageable, intimate enough, and within the means of the hotel, we have a limit of 65 registrants. That's a 6 and a 5. And that's it.

The event itself is officially Friday and Saturday, but there's no doubt that many will arrive Thursday and stay over until Sunday, possibly Monday or even longer. Everyone loves to hang and do tricks. We'll only have the meeting room, though, for the two days. Everything else is lobby time. Bottom line, get there when you can. We'll see you there.

Gary Plants (Houston)
No stranger to The Pebble, Gary is known around the world as a consummate sleight-of-hand practitioner, a scholarly gentleman, and an avid collector of rare media, assembling one of the most impressive libraries of photographs, correspondence, and video footage of magicians from all through history. Gary plans to share some of his collection, the likes of which you've probably not seen before and may not again.
Erik Tait (Columbus)
From the far exotic climes of the Great Midwest, Erik works and lives as a comedy and corporate magician. Between his nightclub and festival appearances, business shows, competitions, lectures and convention gigs, and his work for Penguin Magic, Erik doesn't know the meaning of the words, "slow day." Above all that, Erik has a reputation for his clever and original methods combined with an entertaining style, and we look forward to seeing him at his first Pebblepalooza.
Mahdi's one-of-a-kind approach to sleight-of-hand has impressed and inspired magicians all over the globe and made him a young master of the craft. Bob has more practical experience under his belt than any twelve magic clubs combined. For decades, he's performed in every venue imaginable, always entertaining, always engaging, and always with his trademark innocent charm. We're so proud to have Bob come in and hang with the group and share his knowledge and experience.

The group rate for rooms is $85/night until April 21. After April 21, any remaining rooms will be released back into the general inventory, will be subject to availability, and regular room rates may apply.
